"Making off"
I made these three oak pots with the lathe.
For these three different designs, I looked at how the grain of the wood will play with the design.
The piece of wood is attached to the lathe and then I hollowed it out and deformed it whit the help of chisels.
When making the design, “the making off” is as important as the end product, it is a learning process that always provides inspiration for design, use, but also architecture.
